Social groups are a great way to connect with other people and make friends with other neurodivergent people.
Ways to participate:
Online or in-person
Singular events like social networking night or singles mixers
Groups are formed using a combination of factors like age, support level, and personal interests.
Each session is in two parts.
Part 1: Direct instruction on social skill sets and typical social expectations, in a neuro-affirming way.
Part 2: Conversation and activity. Conversation is guided and supported when needed to help naturally facilitate meaningful connections.
