Lauren Spence Schweikert

M.A., CCC-SLP

For the last thirteen year, Lauren has worked closely with neurodivergent children, adults, and their families. Their diagnoses include autism, ADHD, AuDHD, sensory processing disorders, and intellectual disabilities.

Lauren is a New York State and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist who holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences, with a double minor in Psychology, and Disabilities Studies.

Lauren specializes in all neurodivergent communication and social skills development in autistic teens and adults, AAC systems, and early language development.

She has experience in many settings, including adult rehabilitation, early intervention and peds feeding, private clinics, and a District 75 transitional high school program with level 1-3 autistic folx.

Here, she formed a special focus on developing the communication and social skills needed for autistic people to easily transition to adulthood and community living in a more independent way.

As a neurodiversity coach, she enjoys creating opportunities for neurodivergent folx to build naturalistic social connections, and supporting the neurodivergent LGBTQIA community.
