Group sessions

Have you been wanting to practice your social communication skills or make new friends from home?

Here’s the basics:

  • 1 package = 4 sessions, 1x per week

  • video call meetings

  • sign up as many times as you want, we love to see you

  • first part of the session is a review of social goals and strategies, second half is real-time practice

What will we work on or talk about?

  • Let’s identify YOUR goals…

  • Then share your preferred communication style…do you want to use verbal speech? Are you an AAC user who wants to connect and chat with other AAC users?

  • Last, you’ll select your topic choices and be paired with other people with similar interests.

    Do you have a special interest in public transportation? Anime? Tech? Art?

Individual Sessions

Individual sessions are a great way for us to focus on your communication or daily living goals in a more personalized setting.

If you want to work on your social communication with others, it’s a great place to start. Some people like to start out in individualized sessions, built skill sets, and then progress to joining social skills groups.

Some things we might work on during 1:1 sessions are:

  • Expanding social communication and strengthening relationships with people who are currently in your life (expanding communication with a specific family member or co-worker)

  • Strategies to make new friends socially or at work

  • Dating and relationships and conversational exchanges

  • Navigating and resolving interpersonal conflicts

  • Increasing personal independence

  • Daily problem solving

  • Sensory regulation

  • Time management
